Shi Shi with Tamari Balls Embroidered on Vintage Kimono Silk


Shi Shis, also known as Foo dogs are the Celestial Guardians of Heaven in Japanese mythology. These Shi Shi have been heavily embroidered with pure silver thread onto a silk panel sourced from a Vintage Japanese silk kimono. They are shown chasing their Tamari balls and surrounded by Heavily embroidered peonies. The panel measures 14" wide by 60" long. The base color is a light pink with tones of tangerine.
