Silk Thread

Japanese silk threads that were made in the 1920's to the 1950's are colorful and inspiring. Some of them are fine, like a normal sewing thread and some are thick so are good for embroidery and weaving. Many customers have been using them for braiding techniques. We have separated them into 5, with 1's being the thin ones and 5's being the thickest ones. Some of the colored silk thread has metallic shine in them. We also have the 24K Gold, Platinum and Silver silk threads which come in different weights and textures. a treasure trove for sewing enthusiasts.
